Our dedicated volunteers play a crucial role in our operation. Volunteers sign up through our platform to participate in food pickups. They receive alerts about available pickups and coordinate with restaurants to collect surplus food at designated times. This system not only ensures efficient collection but also provides a flexible and rewarding experience for our volunteers.
After collecting the food, volunteers deliver it directly to local food banks. To ensure accountability and transparency, volunteers take photos of the deliveries, which also helps them earn volunteer hours. This step guarantees that surplus food reaches those in need quickly and safely.
